Journeyperson Electrician

Role Description:

We’re hiring a full-time, on-site Journeyperson Electrician based in Edmonton, AB. Controls experience is preferred but not required. This is an opportunity for someone who’s not just looking for a job, but a place to grow and thrive with a strong team.

Work Schedule:

• Monday to Friday, 8-hour shifts (7:00 am – 3:30 pm) (Can vary from site to site)

• Overtime, out-of-town, and weekend work may be required

Responsibilities:

• Complete low-voltage electrical installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting for building automation systems

• Perform all work safely and in accordance with company policies and industry standards

• Meet construction and customer requirements while achieving project goals

• Bend and install EMT, pull wire, and install devices such as controllers, relays, and actuators

• Manage materials and product resources efficiently

Qualifications:

• Journeyperson Electrician certification

• Experience with HVAC systems and building automation (preferred)

• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills

• Ability to work effectively in a team

• Safety certifications such as WHMIS, First Aid, and CSTS (an asset)

• Valid driver’s license (required)
