Journeyperson Electrician - Controls Experience Preferred

Reporting to their site supervisor, journeypersons are responsible for: providing guidance and leadership to apprentices, working together with others or alone to complete the installation of BAS systems and maintaining good communication throughout the duration of the project.


Responsibilities:

  • Performing all work in a safe manner - abiding by Serv-All's Health and Safety policies as well as all

government legislation and regulations

  • Ensure construction requirements are met
  • Meeting customer and employer project goals and schedules
  • Installing and wiring of electrical devices, such as controllers, relays, actuators, etc.
  • Mentoring and conducting on-the-job training to apprentices
  • Managing product resources and material
  • Adhere to all of SERV-ALL Mechanical's policies and procedures


Qualifications / Skills:

  • Journeyperson Electrician
  • Class 5 Drivers License/Clean Drivers Abstract
  • Controls Experience an Asset
  • Maintain a safe and secure work environment
  • Ability to clear a Criminal Record Check
  • CSTS2020/WHMIS2015
  • Strong verbal, written and organizational skills
  • Ability to manage problematic situations with customers and co-workers
  • Well developed trouble shooting skills

Schedule:

  • 8 Hour Shifts
  • Monday to Friday
  • Overtime, shift work and weekend availability if needed
