HVAC Service and Maintenance Technician – Electrician

The Service and Maintenance Technician is responsible for the service, maintenance, and installation of HVAC controls, and is responsible for providing customer service and support. The Technician will provide quality control while balancing the constraints of a project budget with the expectations of the customer and will ensure the customer receives a product that exceeds their expectations, meets project specifications, and performs the intended functions.


Responsibilities:

  • Perform Control System Maintenance
  • Identify and Procure Potential Project Work
  • Perform Small Scale Projects
  • Achieve Financial Objectives
  • Performing all work in a safe manner - abiding by Serv-All's Health and Safety policies

as well as all government legislation and regulations

  • Enforce building following company systems, policies and procedures
  • Ensure confidentiality of information


Qualifications/ Skills:

  • Journeyman Certificate in Electrical – any other certifications considered an asset
  • Experience in HVAC control theory and concepts preferred
  • Class 5 drivers license with a clean drivers abstract
  • Demonstrated verbal and written communication skills. Must have the ability to communicate

technical material to a non-technical audience.

  • Strong organizational skills
  • Familiar with Microsoft Word and Excel
  • Maintain and safe and secure work environment

Schedule:

  • 8 Hour Shifts
  • Monday to Friday
  • Overtime, shift work and weekend availability if needed
  • Rotating On Call Shifts
